I HATE shopping, I think I’ve mentioned that before. <sigh> Grocery shopping right fits into that category but the thing I REALLY hate about grocery shopping is the carts. You know the ones, the wheels are wonky or don’t go in the same direction at the same time, or are dirty, sticky and just plain YUCKY.
However, there IS a type of shopping cart I like. When I was in England I found they have the neatest shopping carts in ASDA. First of all, two of them fit comfortably in an aisle and that is not just because they do not seem to have a bunch of towers of product on special in the middle of them. Second they are not quite as deep as the ones here. Probably because the Brits go to the store more often than we do and don’t buy as much at one time. But the BEST thing about them is that they go sideways!!! All their wheels swivel, not just the front ones. That means when you do meet up with someone in the aisle, you can just push it to the left or the right to get close to the shelves. You don’t have to juggle, shuffle, or pick up the back of the cart to move it out of the way.
If they can have those in England, why can’t they have them here? We were able to put a man on the moon, we should be able to have shopping carts that move where you need them to go.
Your information are very good.I like it.
